Sci-Fi fans are bracing for aliens, giant man-eating plants and more during the outdoor summer sci-fi film series to be held on Fridays July 30, August 27 and 17 September on the lawn of the Bellamy Mansion Museum, located at 503 Market Street in downtown Wilmington.
The film’s schedule is as follows:
• “Outer Space Plan 9” July 30
• “The brain that would not die”, August 27
• “Little shop of horrors” (1960s), September 17
Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and movies will start at 8 p.m. The event is free with a suggested donation of $ 5. Participants can bring garden chairs and blankets. There are no rain dates so if it rains the movies will be canceled.
Hot dogs, popcorn, drinks, beer and wine will be available for sale. No outside food or drink is allowed and only official service animals are allowed.
Proceeds from the event help fund educational programming and preservation efforts at the Bellamy site.
