He is joined by wide receiver Frank Ladson, a Miami junior whose role declined in 2021. Phommachanh has served as a replacement for Trevor Lawrence and DJ Uiagalelei since joining Clemson in 2019.

Phommachanh, a former top rookie from Connecticut, played 12 games in his three seasons with the Tigers. He’s 22 of 48 for 204 yards, one touchdown and three interceptions for his career, with 150 rushing yards and one touchdown.
