A full NFL schedule and a 13-run MLB thriller made for an incredible sports Sunday. And while you might still be wondering if Justin Herbert is the best football player or how a deflected ball can be a brace, Monday’s sporting slate isn’t much of a break. While Game 4 of the White Sox-Astros series has been postponed due to rain, the other three MLB playoff games are still a busy day in the sports world, and Lamar Jackson is entering the field. tonight to wrap up week 5.
Here is what I am looking at.

Tampa Bay Rays vs. Boston Red Sox
Yesterday’s game between these two was marked by controversy after a rarely seen rule cost the Rays a point in the 13th inning and ultimately ended with an unlikely hero in Christian Vázquez who won it. for the Red Sox. Simply put, the game was peak October baseball in front of a packed crowd at Fenway Park.
Both teams now face the challenge of turning around and replaying within 24 hours of such a physically and emotionally taxing contest. Both managers went deep into their enclosures yesterday, with the Red Sox scorching today’s scheduled starter Nick Pivetta using him for four innings of relief. Alex Cora will look to Eduardo Rodríguez for the start today, while the Rays are expected to count on Collin McHugh at the start of a paddock-led effort.

- The Atlanta Braves at Milwaukee Brewers | This series has been easy to lose sight of thanks to some awesome playing times and a lack of offense. - San Francisco Giants vs. Los Angeles Dodgers | So far, the Giants have faced Cy Young contender Walker Buehler and 20-game winner Julio Urías and have found a way to part ways. Indianapolis Colts at the Baltimore Ravens
May be Monday night football isn’t exactly considered hidden, but on a day with three huge MLB playoff games, this one might go a bit under the radar. That said, no opportunity to watch Lamar Jackson is worth missing. Jackson has been as explosive as ever this season, despite all the injuries to his running backs and crashes to his wide receivers, allowing Baltimore to get off to a 3-1 start. Meanwhile, the Colts have been competitive but have failed to score wins. They picked up their first win of the year last week against Miami to avoid a 0-4 start but could return to the mix in the AFC South thanks to a relatively favorable schedule ahead after that test drive in Baltimore.
