Leonardo DiCaprio has been performing since the late 1980s, when he first appeared in TV commercials. The first film role that propelled him to the public eye was his portrayal of Arnie Grape in What is Gilbert Raisin eating? in 1993, which is available to stream on Netflix. From there he embarked on some incredible projects, making him one of the highest paid actors of all time.

A new project for Dicaprio will be the original Netflix film. Don’t look up which he co-directs with Jennifer Lawrence. The film is a dark comedy that will be released in 2021. Dicaprio and Lawrence play two low-level astronomers trying to warn humanity of an asteroid that will destroy Earth. The ensemble cast also includes Cate Blanchett, Timothée Chalamet, Jonah Hill, Ariana Grande, Chris Evans, Mark Rylance, Matthew Perry, Ron Perlman and Tyler Perry.

Catch Me If You Can (2002) – A pseudo biographical detective film about Frank Abagnale, Jr. (DiCaprio), a con artist with a long list of crimes.
The Missing (2006) – A crime thriller about a Boston officer, Billy Costigan (DiCaprio), who hides in the organization of Frank Costello (Jack Nicholson).
Shutter Island (2010) – This psychological thriller follows Teddy Daniels (Dicaprio), a detective, and his new partner as they investigate the disappearance of a woman from a hospital on a remote island.
Creation (2010) – This science fiction film is about Dom Cobb (DiCaprio), a man who can enter the dreams of others.
Django Unchained (2012) – Quentin Tarantino’s movie follows Django (Jamie Foxx) as a freed slave who begins working with a bounty hunter, Dr. King Schultz (Christoph Waltz). They attempt to save Django’s wife, Hilde (Kerry Washington), Calvin Candie (DiCaprio) and his plantation.
