Ryan Gosling is asked about a random fact he learned from the movies, and he can thank Frozen for his answer

by Disney Frozen does a great job of teaching the public the reality of true love not just from a romantic point of view, but the powerful love that two sisters can have for each other. do you know what else Frozen taught us? Ryan Gosling revealed a random fact he learned while watching the beloved Disney classic that will make you feel a little smarter today.

Movies can be a great way to learn specific facts if the line is highly quotable. In a Netflix Film video posted on instagramRyan Gosling with his platinum blonde Ken hair he was asked what random fact he learned from a movie, and he said Frozen thank you for this knowledge. As he says:

Turtles breathe through their buttocks. It’s from Frozen. Take it with Frozen. I mean, are you calling Frozen a liar? I’m not. The snowman always says these ‘facts’ so I guess I believed them. I believed him.

Frozen is definitely not a liar and includes a legitimate fact. If you need proof for verification, McGill’s the article actually calls this act “cloacal breathing”. The temperature of these cold-blooded reptiles drops when the weather turns bad. As their metabolism slows down during the hibernation period, their oxygen requirements are low, at least until spring as they get their oxygen from the water that covers them. But if times get really hard, they really box get their oxygen source through their buttocks! However, time is limited using this method due to lactic acid buildup. Frogs, salamanders, and sea snakes also use this method. You can watch Gosling’s response for yourself below:

There are a number of movies full of interesting facts that you can learn. For example, Jonathan Lipnicki’s famous quote from Jerry Maguire taught me that the human head weighs eight pounds. Finding Nemo showed audiences that large turtles like Crush can live to be over 100 years old. Even with all the iconic Clueless slang, I’ve learned that the word “sporadically” means “from time to time.” It shows that you can really learn a lot from the movies if you pay enough attention to them.

In case the Notebook actor’s look in the Netflix video doesn’t reveal it, Ryan Gosling has joined the cast of Barbie as his main push, Ken. His new hair and those chiseled abs did a great job of breaking the internet with a number of hilarious memes to follow. We also learned from the Canadian actor that Ken should be homeless, jobless and carless. Perhaps audiences will leave the Barbie movie learning something new about Mattel’s popular doll.

Until the Barbie movie hits theaters on July 21 next year, you can catch him on the run in The Gray Man on your Netflix subscription on July 22. Here’s a fun fact to keep in mind when watching this movie: it’s the most expensive movie Netflix has made.
