LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Completing a 20-day stretch since their last home game – the longest gap of the season for them in the 2021-22 season – Louisville’s men’s basketball schedule is on the cusp of come back to KFC Yum! Center will face DePaul on Friday, December 10.
A team that Louisville dominated during their days at Conference USA and the Big East, this Blue Demons team might not turn around easily. The Blue Demons are 7-1 on the year and are led by Javon Liberty-Freeman – who is averaging 21.8 points and 8.8 rebounds per game.
“It’s a challenge,” said head coach Chris Mack. “They play fast, they have talented players, I think they play well together. They direct their attack in a way that spaces a floor well enough, they perform good deeds and have counters for that.”
Although the game is over a month into the season, it will be Mack’s first regular season game this year as a coach at KFC! Yum Center. He served a six-game suspension to start the season.
Before the game, Mack took the time to meet with the media. He discussed the previous game against NC State, previewed the upcoming game against DePaul, and more.
